JOSEPH SARKIS is Professor of Operations and Environmental Management at Clark University’s Graduate School of Management, a small research and teaching oriented university located in Central Massachusetts. His research and teaching interests cover a wide range of topics including operations management, logistics, supply chain management, corporate environmental management, management of technology, and even information systems and technology.  He is author of two helpful books on improving the environmental footprint of business: Greening the Supply Chain and Greener Manufacturing and Operations.

Joe earned his Ph.D. in Management Science from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Prior to joining the faculty at Clark University, he spent five years at the University of Texas at Arlington as an Assistant and Associate Professor in their School of Business.
