The Oregon Natural Step Network was formed to support business, governmental, and educational organizations interested in using The Natural Step (TNS) framework for sustainability. Our mission is to help transform our region to a model of sustainability. The Network is a membership organization open to all interested organizations and individuals. Currently the Oregon Network has over 290 members. The Network is part of The Natural Step, an international non-profit research, education and advisory organization that uses a science-based, systems framework to help organizations, communities and individuals more toward sustainability. The mission of The Natural Step is to help bring about systemic change, by making fundamental principles of sustainability easier to understand and effective sustainability initiatives easier to implement.
