Diamond Packaging Touts Green Programs on New Website

Feb. 4, 2008 - Diamond Packaging is the latest company to launch a dedicated website showcasing its green programs and products. Diamond's new site is designed to educate consumers about the company's Greenbox sustainable packaging initiative.

"Sustainability is a very broad and complex subject with implications that affect all aspects of the supply chain," says Dennis Bacchetta, Diamond's director of marketing. "Our goal is to bring some clarity to topics such as package design and manufacturing, recycling, and energy requirements."

The site highlights Diamond's triple focus on greener designs, materials, and methods. It also includes separate sections dedicated to sustainability and wind energy, as well as an educational section featuring videos and an environmental calculator.
