Sony Launches New Eco-Communications Push

Feb. 22, 2008 - Sony Europe has unveiled a broad communications platform geared toward educating consumers on the company's environmental credentials. Dubbed "Product, Process, Planet," the program will highlight measures Sony has taken to reduce the environmental impact of its products at all stages of life, from manufacturing to consumer use.

As part of the program, Sony has committed to disclosing environmental performance information for specific products."This marks the first time we address consumers directly across various channels to enhance communication of meaningful environmental information,” says Serge Foucher, executive vice president of Sony Europe.
