Subaru Wins First-Ever Green Award for Automotive Advertising

March 20, 2008 - An advertising spot highlighting Subaru's company values has taken a top prize at the IAG Automotive Advertising Awards, announced yesterday at the New York International Auto Show. The awards, which honor effectiveness in car advertising, added a Green Award category for the first time this year.

The "Subaru Values" spot features an attractive man discussing the company's various environmental and social efforts.

The IAG Automotive Awards are based on response data from 2.5 million viewers of national television advertising. Subaru's ad won its category because the most viewers remembered both the brand and its green message.
