Nov. 26, 2007 The Yellow Pages Association (YPA) has launched a new website to promote a greener image for the paper-hungry phone directory.

Yellow is Green highlights the environmental initiatives of YPA members, including paper manufacturers, printers, and publishers. The site also features a resource section with recycling tips and a listing of community recycling events.

YPA is encouraging consumers to recycle outdated phone books, which can be used to manufacture a range of paper products from pet bedding to cereal boxes.
