Nov. 27, 2007 Professional services firm Aramark has partnered with Amerex Energy Services to help businesses cut energy use and greenhouse gas emissions.

Aramark and Amerex will work together to conduct institutional energy audits and develop strategies for energy reduction. The two companies will also negotiate client contracts with energy providers, including the purchase of renewable energy credits.

Recently, Aramark and Amerex teamed with Integrys Energy Services Inc. and Credit Suisse Group to negotiate a ten-year power deal for Baylor University that is expected to save the campus more than $2 million on energy costs each year.
