Oct. 26, 2007 Virgin Money is planning to launch a climate change fund in January, Money Marketing reports.

The new Virgin Climate Change Leaders fund, to be managed by GLG Partners LP, will only invest in companies with lighter than average environmental footprints as well as companies that provide, manufacture or own solutions to environmental problems. GLG will supplement its own company research with data provided by environmental research organization Trucost.

Virgin Climate Change Leaders is the companys first new fund in 12 years.
