Intel Tops CRO's 100 Best Corporate Citizens List
Feb. 20, 2008 - Intel has nabbed the number-one spot on CRO Magazine's 100 Best Corporate Citizens list, an annual ranking of
top corporate citizens among U.S.-headquartered public companies. Intel has made the top 20 each year since the list's inception nine years ago.
The list identifies companies that best combine business objectives with responsible practices across eight categories: environment, climate change, human rights, employee relations, corporate governance, lobbying, philanthropy and financial performance. Rankings are based on research and analysis by IW Financial.
Rounding out the top ten were Eaton Corp. (No. 2), Nike Inc. (No. 3), Deere
& Co. (No. 4), Genentech Inc. (No. 5), Corning Inc. (No. 6), Humana Inc.
(No. 7), Bank of America Corp. (No. 8), ITT Corp. (No. 9) and PG&E Corp.
