United Technologies Cuts Climate Emissions, Boosts Shareholder Returns

Feb. 26, 2008 - Cutting carbon emissions is perfectly compatible with increasing returns to shareholders, according the just-released 2007 Corporate Responsibility Report from United Technologies Corporation. Last year UTC cut greenhouse gas emissions 5%, while at the same time boosting shareholder return on investment to 24%.

UTC expects to continue reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 3% each year through 2010, according to the report.
