Open to established design firms, emerging designers, and design students, the Greener Gadgets Design Competition is seeking out innovative electronics designs that address the issues of energy, carbon footprint, health and toxicity, new materials, product lifecycle, and social development. Top entries will be showcased at Inhabitat's Greener Gadgets Conference Feb. 1, 2008, where they will be judged by an expert panel and the audience for a grand prize of $2,500. Deadline is Jan. 27.
