LNGs and Fuel Cells and Green Trucks, Oh My!
It was a pretty big week for green shipping, with Nike and Wal-Mart (quite literally) rolling out lower-emissions vehicles at key distribution centers. The word "trend" is thrown around a lot these days, but you can't argue with major names like these. EPA's list of green-fleet leaders reads like a Who's Who in Corporate America. Ryder has clearly been paying attention to which way the wind is blowing — the company just launched a new line of fuel-efficient tractor trailors. Keep on truckin'!
