Oct. 8, 2007 Green Earth Technologies has added motor oil and windshield wiper fluid to its line of organic, biodegradable products.

The manufacturer, whose products are certified "ultimate biodegradable" under the ASTM technical standard, is unveiling new automotive appearance and performance chemicals that the company says perform at or above the level of traditional petroleum-based products. Green Earth's products are made from 100% organic feedstock, according to the company website.

Green Earth expects the automotive products, to be sold under the "G-Brand" label, will reach national retail outlets later this year. The G-Brand line includes motor oil and cleaning products used to wash the exterior, interior, windshield, and wheels of automobiles.
