March 27, 2008 - McDonald's will soon be offering fairtrade tea at its 1,200 U.K. locations, the Telegraph reports. The fast-food giant has declined to renew its contract with Tetley in favor of PG Tips, a brand certified by the Rainforest Alliance.

In October, McDonald's U.K. switched to fairtrade coffee - a move that boosted coffee sales 15%.
