May 14, 2008 - Quartet, a maker of office accessories, has launched a new line of whiteboards and bulletin boards made from sustainably harvested, entirely recyclable materials.

Products in the new Envi line are made from cork, cardboard, and steel that have been certified as "safe materials" by McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry (MBDC), an independent certifier of green design and manufacturing processes. The boards themselves have earned MBDC's Cradle to Cradle certification, which verifies that they are designed to ensure minimal impact to the environment throughout their lifecycle.

The Envi line includes a dry-erase whiteboard, a dry-erase monthly planner, a magnetic combination board, and a cork bulletin board. The products are available now at Wal-Mart and Staples.
