Dec. 6, 2007 U.S. papermaker Smart Papers has switched most of its Genesis line of uncoated printing and packaging papers to 100% post-consumer waste content (PCW). Ten colors are now made from 100% PCW, while another seven contain 30% PCW.

The entire Genesis line, which is acid free, process chlorine-free (PCF) and elemental chlorine-free (ECF), has been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.

The updated Genesis swatchbook will be available in January 2008.
