Volkswagen to Roll Out Electric Cars by 2010
May 30, 2008 - Volkswagen is the latest automaker to enter the race for lithium ion battery technology, partnering with electronics maker Sanyo to develop the batteries for electric cars that may hit the road as soon as 2010.
