August 10, 2010 – Ford announced last week its accomplishments in designing a more sustainable SUV with the planned release of the 2011 Explorer – the company says that the new model is 85% recyclable, uses 25% recycled fiber in its interior fabrics and boasts a fuel economy that is 30% improved over the current model.
